   Dr. Takeda

Optometrist, Dr. Takeda of Glendora, will share his knowledge of Glaucoma and Cataracts on this year’s visit to our Glendora meeting.  He was especially well received last year and will, once again, leave plenty of time for your questions regarding these eye conditions or others that may be of concern.

     Rev. Dr. Phillip Pledger

 The Reverend Dr. Phillip Pledger of the Lutheran Braille Workers, will speak to his organization’s effort to provide accessible Bibles to the blind and visually impaired. He will bring samples of their organization’s Braille and large print Bibles.  The Braille Workers will Braille sections of the Bible upon request and Rev. Pledger will let us know how that works.

     Diane of the Rainbow Nursery

 Diane will introduce the membership to herbs used for cooking and aroma therapy.  She will also share ways to grow your own indoors or out.  She will discuss the medicinal properties of various plants and their best growing conditions.
